During the weekend a display of previous Corfe Castle carnivals and festivals will be shown in the Town Hall, there will be demonstrations of stone carving in the grounds of St. Edwards church on Saturday and Sunday and all shops in the village have extended their opening hours on Friday and Saturday evenings.

 


Friday June 13th

 

7:30 pm - Murder walk in the Castle grounds with
Double Act (local drama group)
 
7:30 pm - A locally caught fish supper followed by a  mystery guest cabaret of spoken words at the Castle Inn
 
9:00 pm - Live music with Toned F at the Greyhound Inn
Saturday 14th June
10:30 am - Coffee morning at St. Edwards church
 
Midday - Judging of the "Best Village Frontage" competition
 
Midday - Creole lunch at the Model Village to include live Blues and Jazz from 1:00 pm - with Mick O'Hara 
 
3:00 pm - Teddy Bears picnic with Enid Blyton storytelling on the lawns of St. Edwards church
 
7:00 pm - New Hardy Players in the Castle grounds (gates open at 6:00 pm)
 
8:00 pm - Bangers and Mash supper at the Fox Inn
 
9:00 pm - Live music with Jim Etherington at the Bankes Arms Hotel
 
9:00 pm - Karaoke evening at the Greyhound Inn
Sunday 15th June

10:30 am - Purbeck Products & Produce and Fete at the Sports Field, West Street

 

11:00 am - Hash House Harriers Fun Run starting at the

 Sports Field and ending at the Castle Inn

 

1:00 pm - The Legends cricket match at the Sports Field

                       (Corfe Castle C.C. vs Sandhurst C.C.)

 

2:00 pm - Gugge2000 playing at the Sports Field and in the village square

 

2:30 pm - Judging and crowning of the village's Prince & Princess at the Royal British Legion in East Street

 

3:00 pm - CorFest08 Grand Parade through the village, starting at the Village Hall, along East Street to the square and ending at the Sports Field

 

4:00 pm - Closing ceremony in the square with raffle draw, prize giving and music by the Bournemouth Carnival Band
